Our Respect Life Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month to pray for and discuss pro-life events.

• Spiritual Adoption - Sign up here! - This annual campaign encourages parishioners to sign up to pray for expectant mothers in need, who choose LIFE for their unborn babies. This is a nine-month project that begins in January and concludes with a baby shower for expectant mothers in the fall. Please share the love of life given to you by the Lord of All Life!
• 40 Days for Life – St Patrick days for this campaign are Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10. Please plan to pray for an end to abortion before the Blessed Sacrament here at St. Patrick Church between the hours of 8:30am and 3:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
• Compassion in Crisis Training – Saturday, May 3, 2025 – The Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge, in partnership with Walking with Moms in Need, is sponsoring Compassion in Crisis Training at the Tracy Center on Saturday, May 3^rd from 9:00am-1:00pm.  Through a combination of trauma-informed approaches and practical strategies, participants will learn how to provide effective emotional and logistical support to mothers experiencing crisis. • Pro-Life Day at the Capitol – Wednesday, May 14, 2025 – 9am-3pm – All are welcome to attend Pro-Life Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.  articipants will have an opportunity to visit with representatives of pro-life agencies, interact with and lobby legislators, and represent Pro-Life Louisiana public.
• 4^th Annual Pro-Life Summit – Saturday, May 31, 2025 –  Bethany Church located at 11107 Honore Lane in Baton Rouge. The conference will address current landscape of pro-life law and action. There will be sessions dedicated to helping women heal from pregnancy loss, countering the illegal sale of abortion pills, understanding and upholding pro-life laws, creative ways to help moms in need, and more. prolifelouisiana.org/summit
